Frequently Asked Questions

Planning a corporate creative experience?

Here are the practical details clients ask most often. If you’d rather talk it through, here's my number - +44 (0)7941 289761.

  • I'm not sure this is suitable for my team?

Don't think of the workshops as purely cute, crafty get-togethers (unless that suits you.)

These workshops are designed to empower colleagues using a start-to-finish, quickly delivered experience, encourage non-hierarchical connection through shared learning and create a memorable experience by doing something different.

  • Are workshops suitable for non-creative teams?

Yes. No prior creative experience is required.

Experiences are designed to be step-by-step accessible and inclusive, with the emphasis on participation, learning and a shared experience rather than artistic skill.

Participants will be guided in a few circumstances, where accuracy is required.

  • Are workshops suitable for a senior leadership team?

Yes. Many clients choose these workshops for leadership teams.

The sessions create a relaxed, non-hierarchical environment that supports conversation, calm, concentration and connection without putting anyone in the spotlight. A nice break from deadlines, people management and reporting.

  • What outcomes can we expect?

Teams typically leave with a stronger sense of connection and shared achievement.

Clients often report improved communication, renewed energy and a noticeable shift in team dynamics in the workplace, alongside the wellbeing benefits that come from focused, hands-on creative activity.

  • Where do you deliver workshops?

Workshops are delivered across the UK, either on your premises or at an external venue such as a hotel or conference space.

Online workshops are also available for remote or hybrid teams.

  • Do you run online workshops?

Yes. This is a great way to bring remote teams together.

Online workshops are designed to be engaging, well-paced and easy to follow.

Premium materials packs can be posted to participants in advance, or we simply use materials found at home.

  • How long are your workshops?

Most workshops run for around 60 minutes, although longer or shorter formats can be arranged depending on your event agenda.

Half-day and conference formats are also available.

  • Do you supply all materials?

Yes. All materials and equipment are provided as part of the experience.

For in-person workshops, everything is brought, set up and cleared away for you. For online sessions, materials are sent in advance in carefully prepared packs or participants can simply gather materials found at home.

  • Can workshops be tailored to our organisation?

Yes. Workshops can be adapted to reflect your organisation’s or team's values, themes or objectives.

This may include custom formats, colour palettes, group structures or links to wider wellbeing or engagement initiatives.

  • What teams have you worked with?

I've worked with HR directors, people and culture leaders, team leaders,  Internal comms. leaders, office managers and CEOs across many sectors:

    Tech - Microsoft, Salesforce

    Pharma - AstraZeneca

    Consultancy - Kearney

    Telecomms - AT&T

    Finance - Barclays

    Broadcasting - ITV

  • How far in advance should we book?

Availability can vary, particularly during peak periods such as Christmas.

Booking six to eight weeks in advance is recommended, although shorter notice may be possible depending on location and format.

  • How do we get started?

I'd love to talk to you or arrange a video call and explore suitable options.

Please feel free to suggest this at vanessa@craftyteambuilding.com or give me a call at (0)7941 289761.

From there, a tailored recommendation and quote can be provided.

  • Do you have public liability insurance and risk assessments?

Yes. Full public liability insurance is in place, and risk assessments can be provided in advance where required.

Still deciding?

If you’re planning a team day, wellbeing initiative or just fancy some down time to say thank you to your team, I’d be happy to talk through options and recommend a format that suits your budget and team.
